About this review platform
This site is an independent IT consultancy publication that helps founders, agencies and marketing teams move websites built with AI tools — Lovable, Framer, v0, Cursor, Replit, Google AI Studio, Gemini, Claude and Bolt — into WordPress. Our reviews and guides are written and edited by Daniel Carter, Senior AI & Web Development Consultant, who has spent more than fifteen years building, migrating and hardening WordPress installations for European startups and SMEs.
How we test converters
Every converter is tested with the same set of real projects: a marketing landing page, a multi-page company site, a blog with dynamic routes and a multilingual site. We export each project from the AI builder, run it through the converter and install the result on a clean WordPress instance with a default hosting stack.
- Visual fidelity — how closely the WordPress result matches the original layout on desktop and mobile.
- Editability — whether text, images and sections can be edited in the block editor without touching code.
- SEO retention — titles, descriptions, headings, URLs and image alt text.
- Performance — page weight and loading speed after conversion.
- Time to launch — how much manual work remains before the site can go live.
What converters do and do not do
Conversion tools move the presentation layer: pages, layout, styling, text and images. They do not convert backends such as databases, user logins or payment logic; those are rebuilt in WordPress with dedicated plugins. Small visual differences after a conversion are normal and are usually easy to fix afterwards, often with a plugin.
Our conclusion
After extensive testing across multiple AI builders, Convert2WP.net produced by far the best conversions and came out as the winner of our comparison.
