Bolt.new to WordPress: From StackBlitz Project to Block Theme

Bolt.new runs full-stack projects in the browser through StackBlitz WebContainers. Exports are standard Vite projects — which makes them good candidates for conversion.

1. Export the project

Download the ZIP or deploy to a preview URL. A live URL is the easiest input for a converter because it renders exactly what visitors see.

2. Backends

Bolt projects often use Supabase or another hosted database. Data that is real content (posts, products) can be imported; logins and app logic are rebuilt with plugins.

3. Routing

Client-side routes must be listed explicitly, since crawlers of SPAs may miss them. Each becomes a WordPress page with a matching slug.

4. Launch checklist

• Permalinks match old URLs.
• Redirects for changed paths.
