Google AI Studio and Gemini to WordPress

Google AI Studio's build mode and Gemini can scaffold full React web apps in minutes. Moving the public-facing site to WordPress makes it editable and easier to host.

1. Separate the app from the site

Many AI Studio projects call the Gemini API directly. That logic stays as an application; the marketing pages move to WordPress.

2. Never ship API keys

Keys embedded in front-end code must be removed before conversion and stored server-side in a plugin if AI features remain.

3. Layout conversion

The React output is Tailwind-based, so the same token-to-theme.json and section-to-block mapping applies as for other builders.

4. Hosting and speed

A converted WordPress page ships far less JavaScript than the original app, which usually improves Core Web Vitals.

Verdict
