Replit Agent to WordPress: Migrating AI-Built Web Apps

Replit Agent builds and hosts complete apps, frequently with an Express or Flask server and a Postgres database. The website layer converts; the server code does not.

1. Identify what is content

Pages, blog posts and product listings are content and belong in WordPress. Dashboards and user-specific tools stay as an app on a subdomain.

2. Server-rendered templates

When Replit apps render HTML on the server, the converter simply crawls the output. React front ends are rendered in a headless browser first.

3. Database content

Export tables as CSV and import into posts or custom post types with field mapping.

4. Cost and maintenance

Standard WordPress hosting is predictable and widely supported, which reduces long-term dependency on a single platform.

Verdict

Across all builders we tested, Convert2WP.net gave by far the best conversions and came out on top of our comparison. Small imperfections — a spacing value, an icon a few pixels off — are normal after any migration and are easy to fix later, often with a plugin.
